Real, Local Food

Using locally grown fresh produce from here in Cumbria whenever possible, much of it from our own Victorian kitchen garden and farm, our menus change daily and offer a wide choice. Ours are family friendly hotels so children are most welcome, with their own menus. We also offer special menus for vegetarians and can cater for any other dietary requirements with prior notice.

Our Lake District hotels offer a choice of restaurants where the emphasis is on locally produced food.

Homegrown produce

We have our own kitchen garden at Yewbarrow House in Grange-over-Sands, which supplies as much quality fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs as we can, all grown using organic principles.

For all the meat that we do not rear ourselves, our suppliers offer complete traceability and give a guarantee of flavour and tenderness.
